Refinding Faith, Hope and Love: The Completeness of Life in God - Who is this for?
- Are you being tested by feeling unloved and abandoned?
- Do memories and effects of childhood trauma threaten your current life?
- Have you lost sense of God, faith, how to pray or courage to persevere in things you once did easily?
- Despite being baptised as a child, are you unsure that God loves you, or what you believe deep in your heart?
- Or do you simply want to deepen your faith, hope and love and want to re-examine how you are living your faith?
If you have any or all of these - I was in this place. Although baptised as a baby, after 25 years teaching in all levels of education I had no conscious awareness of God or how to relate to Him in prayer. But when I reached exhaustion and desperation, God called my name, and encouraged me back into the church. I was quickly taught and led by the Holy Spirit, to find a prayer relationship with God in which He asked for honesty. No more pretending I was OK - at least with God.
And this was the beginning of my renewal and integration - owning my misery and hidden childhood trauma, but trusting in God to lead me and provide. And the provision was a path of deeper engagement with His ways, Word and Love, in Service, with increasing renewal of my mind. And my life expanded in many dimensions, including playfulness, travel, life in community in Switzerland, and Scotland, painting and loving people with His love, not need-love. Would you like this too so you become day by day, more fully who you are meant to be, trusting in God the Father, through Christ and the Holy Spirit, alive in you?
This course/workshop takes you on a journey, to re-connect, not just with God's promises to be your/our God, but with His Presence in you, through His Spirit, and your commitment to Him and His Spirit guiding you to His Kingdom in wholeness.
Through the four Zoom meetings (whether live or through the video course) new thinking and God’s Spirit open doors in your heart. For example in Session 1, 'God in Everyday’, you will find, 'through the prayers and the poem, "I now see God at work in my day, and things become more meaningful." N.M Others were strengthened in grace, and were given more understanding of their need for humility and prayer, and the Word of God. God longs to answer our heartfelt prayers, and enable us to live with Him.*

About Workshop Leader, Marina Carrier
Heulwen Marina Carrier has over 50 years of enabling students of all ages and abilities to overcome physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual blocks to learning and living. She has traditional qualifications, though her teaching career was never linear, because she became concerned for those who could not learn easily.
She switched her focus to 'special needs', and then became a teacher of teachers after she was invited to do a PhD. In this she investigated the schooling process from 4 to 16, and recognised the effect of teachers 'theories' of learners and knowledge, on students' freedom to learn and to know......regardless of age or so-called ability.
Exhaustion when in teacher education led to early retirement and a path of faith, led by love and God's provision. Various secular and Christian Counselling courses, and a Spiritual Directing course followed. Through these means she started to own her brokenness and suffering, and need for God's healing and direction deep within. All this and continuing revelation of the depths of her being through prayer have slowly been integrated over the last 30 years with her previous gifts. She seeks to encourage others to a journey in faith, hope and love, regardless of the depths of their pain. This enables the inner being rooted in Love, to lead the outer being, in love and service, joy and contentment, growing in the knowledge of God one moment at a time.
